Privacy Policy

EveryMemory ("the app", "we", "us", "our") is a memory-game and general-wellness app published by Cleanor Research Labs L.L.C-FZ, trading as "Cleanor". This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed EveryMemory to need as little personal data as possible.

Information we collect

• Account & anonymous ID. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account (a randomly generated user ID) so your progress can be saved and synced. This does not require your name, email, or phone number.
• Optional account details. If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and display name. You may sign in with an email and password, or with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple (see "Signing in with Google or Apple" below). Passwords are managed by our authentication provider; we never see or store your Google or Apple password.
• Game progress. Your game results (scores, accuracy, duration), daily sessions, streaks, and training plan.
• Onboarding answers. The preferences you select during setup (such as the areas you'd like to focus on and your preferred daily time).
• Subscription & payment status. Whether you have an active subscription and which plan, plus a payment-provider customer identifier. We do not collect or store your full card number - payments are processed by Apple or by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record for web purchases.
• Analytics. Aggregated, event-level usage data (for example, which screens are opened or which games are played) to understand and improve the app.
• Crash logs & diagnostics. Technical information about errors and performance to keep the app stable.
• Device & app info. Basic technical details such as device type, operating-system version, app version, language, and time zone.

How we use your information

• To create and save your personalized set of daily games and your progress.
• To show your activity and progress over time, measured against your own past.
• To operate and manage subscriptions and access to paid features.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

Signing in with Google or Apple

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we use that provider only to authenticate you and to create or access your EveryMemory account.

• What we receive from Google. When you use Sign in with Google, we receive from your Google Account your basic profile information - your name, email address, profile picture, language, and a unique Google account identifier. We request only the basic email and profile scopes. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
• What we receive from Apple. When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your email) and a unique Apple identifier.
• How we use it. Solely to create and secure your account, sign you in, link your account across our website and app (so your progress follows you), and contact you about your account. We do not use this information for advertising and do not sell it.
• How we store and share it. Your sign-in identity is managed by Google Firebase Authentication on our behalf. We do not share this information with other parties except as described in "How we share information" below.

Limited Use. EveryMemory's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access. You can revoke EveryMemory's access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or to your Apple ID under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple. You can also delete your EveryMemory account entirely (see "Data retention & deletion").

Quiz & Memory Activity Profile

If you take our quiz, your answers are used to build a personalized activity profile and to recommend suitable content - such as suggested games, session length, difficulty, reminder style, and progress or family features. While you take the quiz, your answers are stored only on your device; they are saved to your account only after you choose to save your profile.

Your quiz answers and profile are preferences for personalization. They are not medical or health data, are not a diagnosis or assessment, and should not be used as medical information. You can request deletion of this data at any time (see below).

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app, under agreements that limit their use of the data:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) - accounts and progress storage.
• Cloudflare - hosting and delivery of our website and APIs.
• Apple and/or Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record for web purchases) - to process subscriptions and payments.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Where your data is stored

Account and progress data is stored using Google Firebase on Google Cloud infrastructure, and access is restricted to your own account. Payment data is held by Apple and/or our payment provider under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time:

• In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account.
• By email: [email protected].

Uninstalling the app may also remove the local copy of your data. Some records may be retained as required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

Children's privacy

EveryMemory is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Not a medical service

EveryMemory is intended for entertainment, education, and general wellness. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or cognitive condition. Please do not use the app to store medical information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
